Images and file access
PixShift accesses the images you select to resize them or convert their file format. It uses the output location you choose to save the processed files. Images may contain embedded metadata; review your exported files before sharing them if that metadata is sensitive.
Local processing and storage
Image processing takes place on your Mac. PixShift does not upload your selected images or processed files to Pidan Labs servers. Your originals and exported files remain in the locations you manage.
If you select a folder managed by iCloud Drive or another sync service, that service may sync your files according to its settings and privacy policy. That syncing is controlled by your chosen service, not by Pidan Labs.
Personal information
PixShift does not require an account to resize or convert images. Pidan Labs does not collect your image contents through these features and does not sell them or share them with advertisers.
App Store and system services
Apple may process information related to app distribution, installation, and system diagnostics according to your Apple account and macOS settings. Those services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.
Support communications
If you contact support@pidanlabs.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request and resolve the issue. Please avoid sending sensitive images unless they are necessary for your support request.
Retention and deletion
Pidan Labs does not store your processed images on its servers. You can delete original images and exported files using Finder or your chosen storage service. To request deletion of information you sent to support, contact support@pidanlabs.com.
Children’s privacy
Pidan Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children through PixShift. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address it.
Changes to this policy
If PixShift’s features or data practices change, we will update this page and its effective date.
