Information we collect
The current version of Bits is designed as a local-first app. Bits does not require you to create an account, and Pidan Labs does not operate a server that receives or stores your personal task data in the current version.
The information you enter into Bits—such as tasks, notes, timer records, progress history, subtasks, and related activity data—is stored locally on your device. We do not sell your personal information.
Local data storage
Your app data is stored on your device. This may include:
- Task names and descriptions
- Timer records
- Progress and momentum history
- Notes and subtasks
- App preferences and settings
Data sharing
In the current version, Bits does not intentionally transmit your personal task data to Pidan Labs servers. We do not share your personal task data with advertisers or data brokers.
Your device, operating system, app store, or third-party services provided by Google may process limited technical information under their own policies, including app installation, crash diagnostics, security, and store-related information.
Third-party services
Bits may be distributed through Google Play. Google may process certain information under Google’s privacy policy and Google Play terms.
Future versions may add optional services such as cloud sync, account login, subscriptions, analytics, or crash reporting. If those features are added, this policy will be updated before or when they become available.
Children’s privacy
Bits is not intended for children under 13. Pidan Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
Because Bits stores data locally, the security of your data also depends on the security of your device, operating system, and backups. Pidan Labs takes reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary collection of personal data.
Your choices
You can stop using Bits at any time. You can delete your data by deleting tasks inside the app, clearing app data, or uninstalling the app. Deleting the app or clearing app data may remove local data from your device.
Changes to this policy
Pidan Labs may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, the effective date above will be updated and the revised policy will be provided in the app or on the app’s store listing.
