Information you provide
BellTide collects only the information needed to provide, maintain, and improve the app. When you create or edit reminder items, you may provide:
- Reminder title, start time, and end time
- Recurrence rules such as weekly, odd or even weeks, every N weeks, or date ranges
- Location, notes, cancellations, rescheduled events, and extra occurrences
- Advance reminder time, sound, and vibration preferences
Account and sync information
If you choose to use account login, cloud sync, subscriptions, or backup features, BellTide may process account identifiers; basic identity information supplied by Apple or Google; subscription status and purchase identifiers; and reminder data, settings, or sync status needed to provide those features.
If you do not use login or cloud sync, core reminder features may continue to work locally on your device, depending on the app version and platform.
Device and diagnostic information
To improve reliability and troubleshoot issues, BellTide may process device model, operating system and app versions, permission status, crash and error logs, performance information, and anonymous usage statistics related to reminder scheduling.
AI-assisted features
If BellTide offers natural-language reminder creation or similar AI-assisted features, the text or reminder content you submit is processed only when you actively use those features. It may be used to parse reminder rules, generate suggestions, or help create reminder items. AI-assisted features are optional.
How information is used
Pidan Labs does not sell personal information and does not use reminder content for targeted advertising.

- Schedule local notifications, advance reminders, widgets, and lock-screen displays
- Sync data when you enable cloud sync
- Process subscriptions, purchases, and membership status
- Diagnose crashes, errors, and reminder reliability issues
- Improve product performance and stability
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
Local storage and cloud sync
BellTide is designed with local-first reminder reliability in mind. Core reminder data, schedule calculations, and notification scheduling may be handled on your device.
If you enable cloud sync, account login, or backup, relevant data may be uploaded to cloud services to support cross-device sync, recovery, or subscription verification. You can manage sync settings in the app where supported.
Permissions
You can manage permissions in device settings. Disabling a permission may limit the related feature; for example, BellTide cannot send system reminders without notification permission.
- Notifications: send reminders before or when an event starts
- Widgets and lock-screen features: display the next event, countdown, or reminder summary
- Calendar access, if provided: import or export schedules only when you authorize it
- Network access: support login, cloud sync, subscription verification, crash reporting, or AI-assisted features
How information is shared
Pidan Labs does not sell or rent personal information. When necessary to provide an enabled feature, information may be processed by Apple or Google login services, app stores, cloud service providers, crash-reporting services, or AI service providers used for a feature you actively choose.
Information is shared only as necessary to provide the relevant feature, and service providers are required to handle it under applicable laws and agreements.
Data retention
- Local reminder data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
- Cloud sync data is retained while your account exists, unless you delete it
- Crash logs and anonymous analytics are retained for a reasonable diagnostic period
- Subscription and transaction records may be retained as required by app stores and applicable law
Your choices and rights
To request account deletion or cloud data deletion, use the account deletion option in the app where available or email support@pidanlabs.com.

Children’s privacy
BellTide is a general reminder utility. Minors should use it with the consent and guidance of a parent or legal guardian. If Pidan Labs learns that personal information from a minor was collected without required consent, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or take other appropriate action.
Security
Pidan Labs uses reasonable technical and organizational measures such as access controls, encrypted transmission where appropriate, limited access, and security reviews. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Third-party services
BellTide may integrate third-party services for login, payments, cloud sync, crash reporting, analytics, or AI-assisted features. Those services may have their own privacy policies and data practices.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in BellTide, legal requirements, or services. If an update materially affects your rights or how information is processed, notice will be provided through the app, an in-app message, a notice page, or another reasonable method.
